District Forms
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are very excited to announce that the Northmor Local Schools has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service.
FinalForms allows you to complete and sign all beginning of the year forms and athletic participation forms for your students. The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time. You will be reviewing your information once per school year to verify information is current and sign the forms. Going forward, this will be the only way students can complete district forms.
We have asked that all parents of athletes, entering grades 7-12, register their students in FinalForms now for the upcoming Fall Sports season.
All other students who are currently enrolled at Northmor can begin registering at their convenience in August. Please look for updates this summer about this process on Northmor’s website and Facebook page.

Please register at - https://northmor-oh.finalforms.com - starting August 1, 2019 and electronically complete ALL forms!

Parents of athletes, please note we are continuing to build and improve this platform. We ask for your patience as you may be asked to revisit the site to complete forms as needed in August. Our goal is to be as efficient as we can.
Students Entering Grades 7-12: When filling out FinalForms, you will need to enter your student's email address so the student can sign the forms. You will need to enter their personal email address or look up how to use their wireless phone number as an email address here: https://freesmsgateway.info/ (Student knightpride email is turned off during the summer.)
Thank you for your assistance in streamlining our paperwork processes and saving resources at Northmor Local School District.

844-SaferOH
SaferSchools Ohio safety tip line

Northmor Local Schools has joined 844-SaferOH, Ohio's new school safety tip line.

SaferOH enables students, parents, teachers and school administrators to anonymously report student safety threats to school officers and law enforcement officers. These threats may include a potential incident of mass violence, a suicide threat or a student who is being bullied.

Trained professionals at Ohio Homeland Security's Threat Assessment and Prevention unit answer all calls and texts to 844-SaferOH. TAP staff immediately forward information to Northmor Local Schools as well as local law enforcement and others. The TAP staff then follows up quickly with school and law enforcement agencies to ensure the incident is investigated and the outcome tracked.

The tip line is available 24 hours a day. The call center guarantees that the person who calls or texts will remain anonymous. Tip line workers may seek additional information, but the person who calls or texts may remain anonymous or leave contact information in case if the tip line workers need to follow up.

"The safety of our boys and girls remains the top priority of our schools," Ohio Superintendent of Public Information Richard A. Ross stated in a press release. "The SaferOH tip line provides another resource for schools and school districts in their continuing efforts to provide a safe and secure educational environment."

Research shows that in 81 percent of violent incidents in U.S. schools, someone other than the attacker knew something was occurring or going to occur but failed to report it. Typically, according to the Ohio Department of Education, that's because the person who knew something feared they would become a target of the attacker or bully or be labeled a "snitch."

Joining SaferSchools Ohio is another example of how Northmor Local Schools is working towards collaboratively establish a safe, respectful and caring environment that promotes student learning.
