November 23, 2020
Dear Northmor Golden Knight Family,
Our teachers and staff are excited to welcome students back to in-person school on Monday, November 30, 2020! At Northmor we know the best mode of learning is traditional in person learning. Every attempt will be made to safely keep students in school five days a week.
If we experience a high percentage of absences in staff and/or students we might be forced into an alternate learning model, which might include:
Hybrid Learning - combined in-person and remote learning
Remote learning - logging on from home
Be prepared for the possibility that remote and hybrid learning may impact only groups of students, specific grade levels, classrooms, buildings or the entire district.
Do your part by following important COVID protocols. It is imperative that you screen your child for symptoms each day before sending them to school. Follow general protocols such as wearing a mask, washing hands, and social distancing. In the event that you or someone in your household is symptomatic and getting tested for COVID-19 please self-quarantine until the results are available.
Northmor schools will be closed November 25th, 26th, 27th for Thanksgiving break. Offices will be closed and teachers will not be available during this time.
*If your student took a school chromebook home, they will need to return the chromebook fully charged and the power cord on Monday, November 30, 2020 to be ready to learn.

Junior High and High School Drop Off Procedure
When dropping off your student in the morning please enter from County Road 29 and pull forward as far as possible along the curb. Students can enter the building using both the elementary and secondary entrances. Both sets of doors will unlock for students at 7:20 AM. If your student is coming in at that time they must enter the cafeteria and sit socially distanced until 7:30 AM. Students will stay in the cafeteria until the 7:30 AM bell rings to begin their day.
